  The two main products in Clayton Shagal skin care line are Collagen II and Elastin II. I need to stress that the collagen and elastin used in Clayton Shagal is live cell extracted from bovine sources which take up to three months to extract and one month for the elastin.  It is not synthetic!  They are in separate containers as collagen and elastin will react with each other and making them ineffective or non active.  This is what is unique to Clayton Shagal products.  To prevent or slow down the aging process, collagen and elastin fiber stimulation is essential.  Using both proteins, Collagen Gel II and Elastin Gel II will maximize the results. Clayton Shagal has now introduced a third protein that is found in the skin called Hyprocel.  Hyprocel  has been designed for skin undergoing a slower biological development.  Hyprocel contains proteoglycans that act as molecular messengers that detect deficiencies and re-calibrates cellular operations. It helps to recalibrate cellular function of elastin and collagen fibrils and helps to prevent dehydration. Following a four-week uninterrupted use of Clayton Shagal's Hyprocel, biological research has shown a higher content in proteoglycans and a higher count of soluble collagen found in the dermis.  This is a definite sign of improvement in the skin's mechanical properties.
